Easy Snickerdoodle Recipe

The perfect snickerdoodles ready in no time. Super easy, quick and you're guaranteed to have all ingredients on hand already. My go-to cookie for a quick easy dessert everyone always enjoys. store them in a ziplock bag or freeze leftovers for a frozen summer treat. Snickerdoodles are a household favorite in my family and I'm sure that if you whip up a batch, everyone will enjoy.


2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

2 sticks unsalted butter

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1 egg

2 teaspoons vanilla extract


1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar

2 Tablespoons cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 375° F

  2. In a bowl whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda

  3. In a stand mixer beat butter and granulated sugar with a fitted paddle attachment until light and fluffy

  4. Add egg and vanilla and beat until combined

  5. Scrape the sides of the bowl and slowly add dry ingredients until combined.

  6. Roll dough into 2 tablespoon-sized balls

  7. Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon for topping in a bowl

  8. Roll each ball of dough in the cinnamon topping

  9. Bake for 12 minutes
